Reporting that updates itself

Bring the numbers you check every week into one dashboard that refreshes from the systems you already use, so nobody has to rebuild the report by hand.

What goes in
  • Spreadsheets
  • Sales or accounting system
  • Marketing and ad platforms
The solution

Combine, clean and refresh on a schedule

What you get
  • One shared dashboard
  • Clear definitions for every number

Why start here

A report that someone rebuilds by hand every week is usually the clearest place to start with data. It already exists, people already know what a correct version looks like, and the time it takes is easy to see.

Automating it frees that time. It also makes the numbers more consistent, because the same rules are applied every time instead of whatever was remembered that week.

How it’s adapted

The approach stays the same each time. The sources, the numbers and the layout are set up around your business and the tools you already use. Where a tool can’t be connected directly, we agree on the simplest dependable workaround before anything is built.

How it works

From first look to handover.

  1. Agree the decisions

Start with the questions the report needs to answer and the few numbers that matter for each one.

  2. Connect the sources

Link the systems where those numbers already live, so nothing has to be copied or re-typed.

  3. Build the view

Lay out a dashboard around those decisions, with a plain-English definition for every number.

  4. Hand it over

Your team learns how it refreshes, how to check it, and how to add to it later.

What you end up with

Yours to run and build on

Every setup is handed over with what your team needs to keep it going.

  • A dashboard built around the decisions you actually make
  • Plain-English definitions, so everyone reads the numbers the same way
  • A short guide to checking, fixing and extending it

Good to know

Where it isn't a fit

The honest limits, so you can decide before you start.

  • It's only as good as the data behind it. If a system records things inconsistently, that has to be fixed first.
  • Some older or closed systems can't be connected automatically and may need a regular export.
  • This is a reporting setup, not a full data warehouse. Larger data projects need a different approach.
